in the midst of transformation…

For Fall 2018, I learned something about depth. Myths is my brain child, and my brain is naturally introspective, naturally intellectual. But underneath thought is feeling, is knowing, is something so simple that it can’t be hurried through reading, through effort, through consciousness. It can only be remembered through sitting in darkness. Sitting still for a few moments after you wake up in the morning and letting the traces of the unknown mystical dream world seep into your consciousness. What if the dream world is the world where the true self lives: without boundary, expectation or the binds of societally-imposed logic. What does this mean about how we define ourselves?
