An Artifact of My Creative Vibrational Nature

About the Project

In 2020, for the first time in my adult life, I had true spaciousness to sit with myself and recalibrate to my internal world rather than being constantly in reaction to the world around me. This facilitated the birth of this book: The Universe Is An Art Project. The words poured out of me as if they’d been hiding beneath the surface, a seed I had been carrying for years, waiting for some nurturing, sunlight, water, attention, and energy to be invested in its cultivation.

I have read the edits of this 52 page potent piece of magic more times than I can count. And everytime, I get the distinct knowingness that this is exactly what I needed to read every time I was stuck in a creative rut, or felt victimized by the culture of capitalism, or was in danger of succumbing to exhaustive overthinking. It’s the kick in the pants I need whenever I start focusing on things that do not matter.

What’s Inside

Essays, poetry, channeled writing, and exercises to light a match within the heart of your creative fire.

Featuring alchemical intuitive film photography from my dear friend Ashley River Brant (whose art is hand-poked onto my body), the channeled Tarot Images of my friend Arizona Smith from The Purple Diamond Tarot Deck (who I met in SPACE by Mama Medicine), and was designed by the brilliant Neo Khama (my friend and colleague who I connected with working with Dive in Well.)

(I always mention where I found my community because I am grateful for the spaces that collect artists and sensitives, make us feel at home, and empower us to use our creative energy to make the world around us.)
